Scottsdale, Arizona
We spent a couple of weeks in Scottsdale with most of our time at a rental and a night at the Element. We went to the Pueblo Grande Museum in Phoenix which is an indoor/outdoor experience. The outdoor portion is a prehistoric village and is a great educational experience. It is neat to see the ruins in a very urban area.
Old Town Scottsdale was very lively. It has lots of bars, restaurants, and shops. We liked the area and had a lot of fun. Some of the places we liked were Old Town Tavern, Grapevine, Rehab, RnR, Goldwater, and Unbaked. Other places in Scottsdale where we had delicious meals were Culinary Dropout, Breakfast Joynt, Zinc Bistro, Tommy Bahama, Perk, and Fate Brewery. The McDowell Sonoran Preserve is nearby and is a great park with wonderful desert trails and scenery.
