Utah

We have spent over a month traveling in Utah; it is a beautiful place to visit. The mighty five national parks have been our main destinations in the state. They each offer something special. Other than the national parks and towns around the national parks, we have also stayed in Park City which was a really cute and fun town!

Below the parks are grouped together based on proximity. Arches and Canyonlands can easily be visited together, and Zion and Bryce can be visited together. Capitol Reef is in between the two areas so can be added on to an Arches/Canyonlands road trip or a Zion/Bryce road trip. We visited Zion and Bryce on one trip and Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef on another. If on a longer road trip, you could visit all of the mighty five. You may also want to combine Arches and Canyonlands with some of the wonderful places in Colorado. We did this on one of our vork trips. Read more on Colorado.
